Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8x8 inch baking dish or line it with parchment paper for easy removal.
- In a medium bowl, mix the melted butter and sugar until well combined.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
- In another bowl, whisk together the cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
- Fold in the M&Ms ensuring they are evenly dispersed in the brownie batter.
Baking
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish, spreading it evenly. Top with additional M&Ms.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Let them cool in the pan for a few minutes before lifting them out.
Serving
- Cut into squares and serve!
Notes
Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3-4 days, or refrigerate for up to a week. Freezing is possible for up to 3 months; thaw at room temperature or microwave to warm.
