  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Preparation
  1. Start by finely chopping the dill pickles and green onions.
  2. Ensure your cream cheese is softened to room temperature for easy mixing.
Mixing
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, chopped dill pickles, green onions, garlic powder, and black pepper.
  2. Use a spatula or a hand mixer to blend the ingredients until well combined.
Shaping
  1. Scoop the mixture out of the bowl and shape it into a ball using your hands.
  2. If it seems too wet, add a little more cheese until it holds its shape.
Chilling
  1. Wrap the cheese ball in plastic wrap and place it in the fridge for at least two hours.
  2. This helps it firm up and meld the flavors together.
Serving
  1. If desired, roll the chilled cheese ball in chopped nuts right before serving.
  2. Transfer the cheese ball to a serving platter, garnish with fresh dill, and serve with your favorite crackers or veggies.
