Preparation
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt. Whisk together until well blended.
- Pour in the melted butter, whole milk, and vanilla extract. Stir until just combined, ensuring not to overmix. The dough should be soft and slightly sticky.
- On a floured surface, turn out the dough and gently knead it a few times until it comes together. Roll out the dough to about 1/2 inch thickness. Cut out donuts with a donut cutter or two round cutters, placing them on a parchment paper-lined tray.
- Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
Cooking
- Place donuts in the air fryer basket in a single layer, being sure not to crowd them. Cook for about 5-6 minutes, or until golden brown. Remove and let cool slightly.
- While the donuts cool, whisk together the powdered sugar and milk in a separate bowl until smooth and the desired consistency is achieved.
- Dip the tops of the warm donuts into the glaze and allow excess to drip off. Place the glazed donuts on a cooling rack to set.
- Serve your Deliciously Glazed Air Fryer Donuts warm and enjoy!
Notes
Store leftover donuts in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days, refrigerate for up to a week, or freeze for a month. To reheat, pop them in the air fryer for about 2-3 minutes.
