Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Slice the top off the round bread and scoop out the insides to create a hollow bowl. Save the bread that is removed for serving.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, mayonnaise, and lemon juice. Stir until smooth.
- Add in your cooked seafood, diced green onions, dill or parsley, and season to taste with salt and pepper. Mix until everything is evenly coated.
- Generously spoon the seafood filling into the hollowed bread bowl and pack it in.
Baking
- Place the filled bread bowl on a baking sheet and bake for about 15-20 minutes, or until the bread is golden brown and the filling is hot and bubbly.
Serving
- Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes. Serve warm and enjoy.
Notes
Ensure not to overbake the bread bowl for the perfect texture. Store leftovers in an airtight container for 2-3 days, reheating in the oven to keep the crust crispy.
