Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Carefully slice off the top of the bread loaf and hollow out the inside, leaving a thick enough wall for structure. Save the bread pieces for later.
Make the Filling
- In a mixing bowl, combine the chopped shrimp, crab meat, cream cheese, sour cream, parmesan cheese, and mozzarella cheese. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly coated.
- Add lemon juice, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper to the mixing bowl. Stir well to combine.
Bake
- Spoon the creamy seafood filling into the hollowed bread loaf, packing it in gently.
- Place the filled bread bowl on a baking sheet and bake for about 25-30 minutes, or until the filling is hot and the bread is lightly toasted.
Serve
- Remove from the oven, sprinkle with fresh parsley, and serve hot with the reserved bread pieces for dipping!
Notes
Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to three days. Reheat in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 10-15 minutes.
