Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine the active sourdough starter, flour, olive oil, and salt. Mix until it forms a cohesive dough.
- Lightly flour your work surface and roll the dough out to about 1/8 of an inch thick.
- Cut the dough into squares or desired shapes.
- Transfer the cut crackers to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, leaving space between them.
Baking
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Check towards the end to prevent burning.
- Let them cool completely on a wire rack.
Notes
Store crackers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week. Reheat in the oven for a few minutes to restore crunch.
