Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Wash and peel the sweet potatoes. Cut them into even rounds, about ¼ inch thick.
- In a large bowl, toss the sweet potato rounds with olive oil, salt, and black pepper until well-coated. Optionally, add cinnamon or any preferred spices.
- Spread the seasoned sweet potato rounds in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Cooking
- Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and roast for about 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through.
- Once golden and tender, remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
For optimal results, use fresh ingredients and ensure even cutting for uniform cooking. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. To reheat, place in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 10-15 minutes.
