Preparation
- Boil a large pot of water. Add spinach and blanch for approximately 30 seconds or until wilted.
- Drain the spinach and immediately immerse it in ice water to stop the cooking process.
- Once cooled, squeeze out any excess water and set aside.
Dressing
- In a small bowl, whisk together sesame oil, soy sauce, sugar, and minced garlic until well combined.
Combine and Serve
- In a large mixing bowl, add blanched spinach and pour the dressing over. Toss until spinach is evenly coated.
- Sprinkle toasted sesame seeds and green onions on top. Transfer to a serving dish and enjoy.
Notes
For optimal texture, do not over-blanch spinach. Customize with other nuts or vegetables if desired.
