Ingredients

For the Chicken
  • 4 pieces Chicken Breasts, boneless and skinless
  • 1/4 cup Honey Use pure honey for the best taste
  • 1/4 cup Mustard Dijon or yellow mustard both work well
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil
  • to taste Fresh Parsley, chopped Optional for garnish

Method

Preparation
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the honey, mustard, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix well to create a smooth marinade.
  2. Place the chicken breasts in a resealable plastic bag or a shallow dish. Pour the honey mustard mixture over the chicken and ensure it’s well coated. Marinate for at least 15 minutes.
Cooking
  1. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat.
  2. Once the pan is hot, add the marinated chicken breasts. Cook for about 6-8 minutes on each side, or until the chicken is cooked through and no longer pink in the center.
  3. Drizzle any remaining marinade over the chicken during the last few minutes of cooking for extra flavor.
Serving
  1. Remove from heat, let it rest for a few minutes, and garnish with chopped fresh parsley, if desired. Serve immediately and enjoy the delicious flavor!

Notes

For a bolder flavor, let the chicken marinate for up to an hour in the refrigerator. If you prefer a thicker sauce, simmer the leftover marinade in the pan to reduce it further. You can also add seasonings or herbs for a unique twist. Make sure not to overcook the chicken to keep it juicy and tender. Store leftovers in an airtight container for 3-4 days.
