  • 1 pound Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
  • 3 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt, or to taste
  • 0.25 teaspoon Black pepper, or to taste
  • 3 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice, freshly squeezed (optional)
  • 0.25 cup Parmesan cheese, grated (optional) For those who enjoy cheese

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Rinse and dry your Brussels sprouts. Trim the ends and slice them in half.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the Brussels sprouts with olive oil, salt, black pepper, and minced garlic. Toss until well-coated.
  4. Arrange the seasoned sprouts cut-side down on a baking sheet.
Cooking
  1. Roast in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy. Shake the baking sheet halfway through.
  2. If desired, drizzle with fresh lemon juice and sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese over the hot Brussels sprouts right before serving.
  3. Plate them up and enjoy!

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days. For freezing, ensure they are well-sealed and will last for about 2 months. To reheat, place them on a baking sheet in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for 10-15 minutes.
