Ingredients

For the Frozen Yogurt
  • 2 cups Greek yogurt (plain or vanilla for sweetness)
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries (plus extras for garnish) Use ripe blueberries for the best flavor.
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup Adjust to your desired sweetness.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract Optional for added flavor.

Method

Preparation
  1. Start by rinsing the fresh blueberries under cool water. Once clean, set aside about a handful for garnishing later.
  2. In a blender or food processor, combine the Greek yogurt, fresh blueberries, honey or maple syrup, and vanilla extract.
  3. Blend until the mixture is smooth and creamy, pulsing a few times to keep some blueberry chunks for added texture.
  4. Taste the blended mix. If preferred sweeter, add more honey or maple syrup and blend again.
  5. Pour the mixture into a lidded container and place it in the freezer for about 4-6 hours, or until firm.
  6. Once frozen, scoop out the yogurt into bowls, garnish with reserved blueberries, and enjoy.

Notes

Let it soften for a few minutes at room temperature before scooping to make it easier to serve. Feel free to experiment with other fruits like strawberries or raspberries.
