- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, combine mashed bananas, softened butter, brown sugar, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract. Blend until creamy.
- In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
- Fold in chocolate chips and nuts if desired.
- Scoop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
Baking
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, until the edges are lightly golden and centers are set.
- Let cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
