Preparation
- Wash the drumsticks under cold water and pat them dry with a paper towel.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Toss the drumsticks in this mixture until all are evenly coated.
- Let them marinate for about 5 to 10 minutes for maximum flavor.
Cooking
- Preheat your air fryer to 380°F (190°C) for about 3 to 5 minutes.
- Place the seasoned drumsticks in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook for 25 to 30 minutes, flipping halfway through for even crispiness.
- Check that the internal temperature reaches at least 165°F (75°C) using a meat thermometer. If needed, cook for an additional 5 minutes.
Serving
- Remove the drumsticks from the air fryer and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
For unique twists, try using avocado oil or different spices. Avoid overcrowding the air fryer for best crispiness. Store leftovers in an airtight container for 3 to 4 days. Reheat in the air fryer at 375°F for 5-7 minutes.
