Ingredients
  

  • For the Brownie Base:
  • 1 box of brownie mix plus ingredients as per package instructions
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans
  • For the Cheesecake Layer:
  • 16 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • For the Turtle Topping:
  • 1 cup caramel sauce
  • 3/4 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips melted

Instructions
 

  • Step 1: Preheat the Oven
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease the springform pan and line the bottom with parchment paper for easy removal.
  • Step 2: Prepare the Brownie Base
  • Prepare the brownie mix according to package instructions. Stir in 1/2 cup chopped pecans for added crunch.
  • Pour the brownie batter into the springform pan and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the edges are set but the center is slightly underdone.
  • Step 3: Prepare the Cheesecake Layer
  • In a large mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese and sugar with an electric mixer until smooth and creamy.
  • Add the eggs one at a time, mixing until just incorporated. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  • Pour the cheesecake mixture over the partially baked brownie base, spreading it evenly.
  • Step 4: Bake the Cheesecake
  • Reduce the oven temperature to 325°F (165°C).
  • Bake the cheesecake for 40-50 minutes, or until the center is slightly jiggly but the edges are set.
  • Remove the cheesecake from the oven and let it cool to room temperature before refrigerating for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  • Step 5: Add the Turtle Toppings
  • Once the cheesecake is fully chilled, drizzle the top with caramel sauce and sprinkle with chopped pecans.
  • Drizzle melted chocolate over the caramel and pecans for the finishing touch.
  • Step 6: Serve
  • Carefully remove the cheesecake from the springform pan and transfer it to a serving platter. Slice and serve chilled for a decadent treat.
