- Start by rinsing your fresh green beans under cold water. Trim the ends to remove any tough bits.
- In a large bowl, toss the green beans with olive oil, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Make sure they are evenly coated.
- Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (approximately 200°C).
Cooking
- Place the seasoned green beans in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook for 10-12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
- If using parmesan cheese, add it in the last 2 minutes of cooking.
Serving
- Once the green beans are golden and crisp, remove them from the air fryer and serve immediately.
