  • 1 large head cauliflower, cut into florets Rinse and dry before using.
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt Or to taste.
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese Ensure it's halal-friendly.
  • 1 teaspoon fresh parsley, chopped For garnish.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Rinse the cauliflower head under cool water and cut it into bite-sized florets. Pat the florets dry with a kitchen towel.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, toss cauliflower florets with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Sprinkle grated Parmesan over the seasoned cauliflower and toss until well coated.
Roasting
  1. Spread cauliflower in a single layer on a baking sheet.
  2. Roast for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown and crispy, flipping halfway through.
Serving
  1. Remove from the oven, sprinkle chopped parsley on top, and serve hot.

Notes

For dairy-free options, consider substituting Parmesan with a nut-based cheese alternative. You can also add heat with cayenne pepper or red chili flakes.
