Preparation
- Start by washing the chicken wings under cold water and patting them dry with paper towels.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the grated parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Drizzle the olive oil over the chicken wings and toss until they are evenly coated.
- Sprinkle the parmesan mixture over the wings and toss again until each wing is generously coated.
Cooking
- Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
- Place the chicken wings in the air fryer basket in a single layer and cook for 25-30 minutes, shaking the basket once halfway through.
- Check that the wings are golden brown and crispy and ensure they reach an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
Serving
- Once cooked, remove the wings from the air fryer, and serve them hot. Consider garnishing with fresh parsley or serving with your favorite dipping sauce!
Notes
For extra crispiness, you can increase the cook time by a few minutes. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 days. To reheat, use an air fryer or oven set to 375°F (190°C) for about 5-7 minutes.
