Method
Preparation
- Pour one cup of chicken or vegetable broth into the base of the Instant Pot.
- Place the frozen chicken breasts directly into the broth.
- Drizzle olive oil over the chicken, then sprinkle garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper (and any optional seasoning).
- Close the lid and ensure the valve is set to sealed.
Cooking
- Set the Instant Pot to cook on high pressure for 10 minutes.
- Allow the pressure to naturally release for 5 minutes before quick-releasing any remaining pressure.
Crisping
- Remove the chicken from the pot and set it on a baking sheet.
- Broil in the oven for 4-5 minutes until the outside becomes crispy and golden brown.
Serving
- Slice the chicken and add your favorite toppings, serving it alongside some veggies, rice, or in a wrap.
Notes
For storing, keep leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days, or freeze for up to 2 months. Reheat in the oven to maintain crispiness.
