- In a medium bowl, combine the melted butter, milk, and egg, whisking until well blended.
- In a separate bowl, sift together the flour, sugar, baking powder, ground cinnamon, and salt.
- Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Using your hands, form small balls of dough, about the size of a marble.
Cooking
- Drop the dough balls into the hot oil in batches. Fry until golden brown, approximately 3-4 minutes.
- Roll the warm donut bites in a cinnamon and sugar mixture immediately after removing from oil.
- Allow them to cool slightly before serving. Best enjoyed warm.
