- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) for even baking.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and lightly spray it with cooking spray or brush it with oil.
- Set up a dredging station with three bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with a mixture of breadcrumbs, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
- Coat each fish fillet in flour, dip into the beaten eggs, and then press into the breadcrumb mixture until fully covered.
- Arrange the coated fish sticks on the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each for even cooking.
- Spray the tops of the fish sticks with cooking spray or brush lightly with oil.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and cooked through.
Serving
- Let the fish sticks cool for a couple of minutes before serving. Enjoy with your favorite dipping sauces.
Notes
Consider using gluten-free breadcrumbs and flour to make this dish gluten-free. Keep an eye on the cooking time, as ovens may vary. Avoid overcrowding the baking sheet to achieve that perfect crisp.
