Preparation
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until just combined—don't overdo it, or the burgers may become tough.
- Divide the mixture into equal portions (about 1/4 pound each) and shape them into patties. Make a small indentation in the center of each patty to help them cook evenly.
Cooking
- Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 5 minutes.
- Place the patties in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook for about 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway through. For cheeseburgers, add slices of cheese on top during the last 2 minutes.
- If desired, place the buns in the air fryer for 2-3 minutes until golden and crispy.
Assembly
- Place the cooked patties on the buns and add your favorite toppings. Serve immediately and enjoy the deliciousness!
Notes
Leftover cooked patties can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or frozen for up to 3 months. Reheat in the air fryer at 350°F (175°C) for about 5 minutes to maintain crispiness.
