Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 4 medium-sized russet potatoes Scrubbed and dried
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil For seasoning the wedges
  • 1 teaspoon salt Adjust to taste
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper Freshly ground preferred
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika

Method

Preparation
  1. Start by scrubbing the russet potatoes thoroughly to remove any dirt. Pat them dry with a paper towel.
  2. Cut each potato in half lengthwise, then slice each half into wedges. Aim for about 8 wedges per potato, ensuring they are of similar thickness for even cooking.
  3. In a large bowl, toss the potato wedges with olive oil, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. Make sure each wedge is evenly coated with the delicious seasoning!
Cooking
  1. Set your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) and let it preheat for about 5 minutes.
  2. Place your seasoned potato wedges in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Depending on the size of your air fryer, you may need to do this in batches. Cook for 15 to 20 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through for even cooking.
  3. After the cooking time, check to see if they are golden and crispy. If you want them extra crispy, air fry them for another 3 to 5 minutes.
  4. Once out of the air fryer, feel free to add more salt or seasoning if desired, and serve them hot with your favorite dips!

Notes

For a twist on flavor, try using sweet potatoes instead of russet potatoes. Keep an eye on your wedges as cooking times may vary based on size and air fryer model. Avoid overcrowding in the air fryer basket for maximum crispiness. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days, and reheat in the air fryer at 350°F (175°C) for about 5-7 minutes.
