Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 4 medium-sized russet potatoes or any preferred variety
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • to taste salt
  • to taste pepper
Optional Garnish
  • to taste fresh herbs (like parsley or chives)

Method

Preparation
  1. Wash and scrub the potatoes thoroughly. Leave the skin on for added texture and nutrients, then cut each potato into wedges (aim for about 8 wedges per potato).
Seasoning
  1. In a large bowl, combine the potato wedges with olive oil. Add garlic powder, paprika, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Toss everything together until the potatoes are well-coated in the seasoning.
Cooking
  1. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C). Once preheated, place the seasoned potato wedges in the air fryer basket in a single layer. You may need to do this in batches if your air fryer is small.
  2. Air fry the potato wedges for 15-20 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through cooking to ensure even crispiness. They should be golden brown and crispy on the outside.
  3. Remove the wedges from the air fryer and let them cool for a couple of minutes. Serve immediately, garnished with fresh herbs, if desired!

Notes

For best results, choose russet potatoes for a fluffy interior, do not overcrowd the air fryer basket, and preheat the air fryer before cooking. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days and reheat in the air fryer to regain crispiness.
