  • 4 medium medium-sized russet potatoes High-starch potatoes work best for fluffy interiors.
  • 2-3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder Adjust to taste.
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder Adjust to taste.
  • 1 teaspoon paprika Optional

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
  2. Scrub the russet potatoes under cold water and then cut them into wedges, aiming for uniform thickness for even cooking.
  3. In a large bowl, toss the potato wedges with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper until well-coated.
  4. Place the seasoned potato wedges in the air fryer basket in a single layer, ensuring they don’t overlap for maximum crispiness.
Cooking
  1. Cook at 400°F (200°C) for about 15 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through to promote even cooking. Cook longer if you prefer a crispier texture.
Serving
  1. Once golden brown and crispy, remove the wedges from the air fryer and serve them immediately with your favorite dipping sauces.

Notes

To elevate the wedges, try adding your favorite spices or herbs. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days and reheat in the air fryer to restore crispiness.
