  • 1 lb ground beef (80/20 for optimal flavor)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce Substitute with soy sauce if avoiding Worcestershire
  • Burger buns (sandwich rolls or whole wheat as preferred)
  • Toppings of your choice (lettuce, tomato, cheese, etc.)

Preparation
  1. Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 5 minutes.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and Worcestershire sauce. Mix until just combined, avoiding over-mixing.
  3. Form the mixture into burger patties, about 1/2 inch thick. Make a small indent in the center of each patty.
Cooking
  1. Place the patties in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  2. Air fry the burgers for 12-15 minutes, flipping halfway through, until they reach an internal temperature of 160°F (70°C).
  3. Optional: In the last 2 minutes of cooking, add cheese slices to the patties.
Serving
  1. Let the burgers rest for a couple of minutes before serving them on buns with your favorite toppings.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the air fryer at 375°F for 3-5 minutes.
