  • 8 pieces chicken drumsticks
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional) For a spicy kick.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Rinse the chicken drumsticks under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels.
  2. In a bowl, mix the olive oil, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, black pepper, onion powder, and cayenne pepper. Toss the chicken drumsticks in the spice mix until well coated.
Cooking
  1. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Place the drumsticks in a single layer in the air fryer basket, ensuring they don’t touch.
  3. Cook the drumsticks for approximately 25 minutes, flipping them halfway through. Ensure they reach an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
Serving
  1. Once done, take them out and let them rest for a few minutes. Serve with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

For best results, avoid overcrowding the air fryer basket. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. To reheat, place in the air fryer at 350°F (175°C) for about 10 minutes.
