Preparation
- Rinse the chicken drumsticks under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels.
- In a bowl, mix the olive oil, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, black pepper, onion powder, and cayenne pepper. Toss the chicken drumsticks in the spice mix until well coated.
Cooking
- Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- Place the drumsticks in a single layer in the air fryer basket, ensuring they don’t touch.
- Cook the drumsticks for approximately 25 minutes, flipping them halfway through. Ensure they reach an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
Serving
- Once done, take them out and let them rest for a few minutes. Serve with your favorite dipping sauce.
Notes
For best results, avoid overcrowding the air fryer basket. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. To reheat, place in the air fryer at 350°F (175°C) for about 10 minutes.
