Preparation
- Rinse the chicken drumsticks and pat them dry with paper towels.
- In a bowl, mix the olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Toss the drumsticks in this mixture until they’re well coated.
Cooking
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
- Place the drumsticks in the air fryer basket, ensuring they are not overcrowded for even cooking.
- Air fry the drumsticks for about 25-30 minutes, flipping them halfway through.
- Use a meat thermometer to check if the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
Serving
- Once out of the air fryer, sprinkle with fresh parsley for a pop of color and flavor!
Notes
Feel free to experiment with spices, such as taco seasoning or Italian herbs. Keep an eye on the cooking time, as air fryer models can vary. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for 3-4 days, or freeze for up to 3 months. Reheat in the air fryer at 350°F (175°C) for about 10 minutes for best results.
