Preparation
  1. Wash and scrub the potatoes thoroughly under running water to remove any dirt. Pat them dry with a towel.
  2. Use a fork to poke holes all over each potato to allow steam to escape while cooking.
  3. Rub olive oil over the potatoes, ensuring they are well coated. Sprinkle salt and pepper to your liking.
Cooking
  1. Place the potatoes in the air fryer basket, ensuring they have space between them for even cooking.
  2. Set your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) and cook for about 35 to 40 minutes, turning them halfway through.
  3. Check for doneness by inserting a fork into the center. If it goes in easily, the potatoes are ready.
  4. Remove from the air fryer, let them cool for a minute, then slice them open and add your favorite toppings.

Notes

Store uneaten baked potatoes in an airtight container for up to 3 days. Reheat in the air fryer for 5-10 minutes at 350°F (175°C). Can freeze cooked potatoes for up to a month.
