Preparation
- Wash and scrub the potatoes thoroughly under running water to remove any dirt. Pat them dry with a towel.
- Use a fork to poke holes all over each potato to allow steam to escape while cooking.
- Rub olive oil over the potatoes, ensuring they are well coated. Sprinkle salt and pepper to your liking.
Cooking
- Place the potatoes in the air fryer basket, ensuring they have space between them for even cooking.
- Set your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) and cook for about 35 to 40 minutes, turning them halfway through.
- Check for doneness by inserting a fork into the center. If it goes in easily, the potatoes are ready.
- Remove from the air fryer, let them cool for a minute, then slice them open and add your favorite toppings.
Notes
Store uneaten baked potatoes in an airtight container for up to 3 days. Reheat in the air fryer for 5-10 minutes at 350°F (175°C). Can freeze cooked potatoes for up to a month.
