Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients
  • 4 pieces salmon fillets (about 6 ounces each) Use fresh, high-quality salmon for best flavor
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream Can substitute with half-and-half or coconut cream
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped (or parsley)
  • 1 pieces Lemon wedges for serving

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Heat the olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Sprinkle salt and pepper on both sides of the salmon fillets.
Cooking
  1. Carefully place the salmon fillets in the skillet. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until golden brown and flakes easily.
  2. Remove the fillets from the skillet and set aside.
Sauce Preparation
  1. In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sauté for about a minute until fragrant.
  2. Pour in the heavy cream and stir, followed by the Dijon mustard. Bring to a gentle simmer.
  3. Stir in the fresh dill and return the salmon to the skillet. Allow to simmer together for another 2-3 minutes.
Serving
  1. Transfer the salmon to serving plates and drizzle with the creamy sauce. Garnish with additional dill and lemon wedges.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. Reheat gently on the stove over low heat.
