Ingredients
  

Meatball Mixture
  • 1 pound ground chicken Ensure it is Halal-certified.
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped parsley
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • to taste salt and pepper Season generously.
Creamy Sauce
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon butter For sautéing.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine ground chicken, breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, chopped parsley, minced garlic, beaten egg, and season with salt and pepper. Mix well.
  3. Scoop small amounts of the mixture and roll into meatballs, approximately 1-2 inches in size. Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Cooking
  1. Bake the meatballs in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes, or until cooked through and lightly golden.
  2. While the meatballs are baking, melt butter in a skillet over medium heat. Stir in heavy cream, chicken broth, and Italian seasoning. Bring to a simmer and thicken slightly.
  3. Once the meatballs are cooked, place them in the skillet with the creamy sauce and gently toss to coat.
Serving
  1. Serve the meatballs over your favorite pasta or alongside warm bread.

Notes

For substitutions, ground turkey can be used as a lower-fat alternative. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or freeze for 3 months. Reheat gently to maintain moisture.
