Method
Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large pot, bring water to a boil and cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a skillet over medium heat, season the steak with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Cook to your preferred doneness (about 4-5 minutes per side for medium). Remove from the skillet, let it rest, and then cut into bite-sized pieces.
Making the Sauce
- In a large bowl, mix together the cream cheese, buffalo sauce, honey, and half of the cheddar cheese until smooth.
Combining
- In the bowl with the sauce, add the cooked pasta and steak. Stir until everything is well-coated.
Baking
- Transfer the pasta mixture to a baking dish. Top with the remaining cheddar cheese and panko breadcrumbs.
- Place in the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes or until bubbly and golden on top.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
Serving Suggestions
- To enhance the meal, consider serving with a crisp side salad, garlicky green beans, or a refreshing yogurt-based dip.
Notes
You can substitute steak with chicken or ground turkey. Undercook the pasta by a minute or two as it will continue cooking in the oven. Let the dish cool slightly before serving.
