Pasta
  • 8 ounces fettuccine or spaghetti pasta Use your preferred type of pasta.
Meat
  • 1 pound ground beef Can be substituted with ground turkey or chicken.
Sauce
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil For cooking the beef.
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced Adds flavor to the dish.
  • 1 cup heavy cream For the creamy sauce.
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese Melt into the sauce for richness.
  • to taste Salt and pepper For seasoning.
Garnish
  • Fresh parsley For garnish (optional).

Method
 

Cooking the Pasta
  1. Boil a large pot of salted water. Once boiling, add the pasta and cook according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Preparing the Beef
  1. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula, about 5-7 minutes.
  2. Once the beef is cooked through, stir in the minced garlic and sauté for another minute until fragrant.
Making the Sauce
  1. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer, stirring frequently. Add the Parmesan cheese, allowing it to melt into the sauce while seasoning with salt and pepper.
Combining
  1. Once the sauce is creamy and slightly thickened, fold in the cooked pasta. Mix well to ensure every strand is coated with the sauce.
Serving
  1. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley if desired and enjoy your meal hot!

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-4 days. Reheat in a microwave-safe dish, adding a splash of cream or milk to restore the sauce’s consistency. Variations include using ground turkey or chicken, or adding a touch of red pepper flakes for spice.
