  • 2 cups cooked chicken, diced (Halal-friendly)
  • 2 cups broccoli florets (fresh or frozen)
Creamy Sauce Ingredients
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ¾ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • for garnish Fresh parsley, chopped (optional)

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook the tortellini according to the package instructions until tender, about 3-4 minutes for fresh tortellini. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Toss in the diced chicken and broccoli, cooking until the broccoli is tender and the chicken is warmed through, about 5-7 minutes.
Creating the Sauce
  1. Pour in the heavy cream and stir well. Allow the mixture to simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  2. Gradually stir in the grated Parmesan cheese, mixing until melted and the sauce has thickened slightly.
Combining Ingredients
  1. Gently fold the cooked tortellini into the creamy sauce, ensuring each piece is well-coated.
  2. Season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning to taste.
Serving
