Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened Make sure it's softened for easy mixing.
  • 0.5 cup green olives, chopped Feel free to use black olives for a different flavor.
  • 0.25 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste Be cautious with salt as olives can be salty too.
  • Fresh herbs for garnish (optional) Add for a pop of color and flavor.

Method

Preparation
  1. Start by gathering all your ingredients. Make sure the cream cheese is softened for easy mixing.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and mayonnaise. Use a hand mixer or a spatula to blend them until smooth.
  3. Sprinkle in the garlic powder and onion powder. Add a pinch of salt and pepper for seasoning. Mix until fully incorporated.
  4. Gently fold in the chopped green olives. Preserve some texture by not overmixing.
  5. Taste the spread and adjust seasoning to your liking.
  6. For the best taste, chill the spread in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.
  7. When ready to serve, sprinkle with fresh herbs for added flavor.

Notes

This spread keeps well for about 5-7 days in the refrigerator. Freezing is not recommended as it can affect the texture. If necessary, freeze in small portions and consume within three months.
