Ingredients
  

Cheese Mixture
  • 2 packages 8 oz packages of cream cheese, softened Make sure it's at room temperature for easy mixing.
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup dried cranberries, chopped
  • 1/2 cup pecans, chopped Plus additional for coating.
  • 1/4 cup green onions, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
For coating
  • additional pecans and cranberries chopped pecans and dried cranberries for coating

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, chopped dried cranberries, chopped pecans, green onions, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix everything together until well combined.
  2. Use your hands to form the cheese mixture into a ball shape.
  3. Place the additional chopped pecans and cranberries on a large plate. Roll the cheese ball in the mix until it’s fully coated, pressing gently to ensure it adheres.
  4. Wrap the cheese ball in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least one hour.
  5. Once chilled, take the cheese ball out of the fridge, and place it on a serving platter with a selection of your favorite crackers, veggies, or fruit.

Notes

Can be made a day in advance. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week.
