Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, diced onion, shredded cheese, eggs, milk, garlic powder, salt, black pepper, and Worcestershire sauce. Mix thoroughly until all ingredients are evenly combined.
- Transfer the mixture into a loaf pan, shaping it evenly. Make sure to pack it gently to keep the meatloaf together.
- In a small bowl, mix ketchup with a bit of Worcestershire sauce. Pour this glaze over the top of the meatloaf.
- Place the loaf in the preheated oven and bake for about 45-55 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
- Let the meatloaf cool slightly before slicing. Serve hot and enjoy with your favorite side dishes.
Notes
To ensure your meatloaf turns out just right, use higher fat ground beef for juiciness and let it rest before slicing. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 days or frozen for up to 3 months.
