  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh herbs (optional) for garnish

Preparation
  1. Begin by chopping the cabbage, dicing the potatoes, and dicing the onion. Mince the garlic, and set it aside.
Cooking
  1. In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the sausage and cook until browned.
  2. Add the diced onion and minced garlic to the pot. Stir until the onion becomes translucent and fragrant, about 2-3 minutes.
  3. Incorporate the chopped cabbage and diced potatoes into the mix. Stir everything together until combined.
  4. Sprinkle in paprika, salt, and pepper, adjusting the quantities to suit your taste buds. Stir well to ensure the spices coat the vegetables evenly.
  5. Pour in enough water or broth to cover the contents of the pot. Bring it to a simmer, then cover with a lid and reduce the heat. Allow it to cook for 20-25 minutes, or until the potatoes and cabbage are tender.
  6. Once cooked through, taste and adjust seasoning if necessary. Serve hot, garnished with fresh herbs if desired.
