Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Slice the peaches in half and remove the pits. Place them cut-side up in a baking dish.
- In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon. If using nuts, mix them in too.
- Spoon the butter mixture generously over each peach half, ensuring they are well coated.
Baking
- Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the peaches are tender and the tops are bubbling and golden.
- Serve warm, optionally with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container for 3-5 days in the fridge. Reheat in the oven at 350°F for about 10 minutes. Can freeze leftovers for up to 3 months.
