Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1 pound ground beef You can substitute with ground turkey or chicken.
  • 1 cup shredded cheese American or your favorite melty option.
  • 1 large onion, diced
  • 1 large bell pepper, diced Any color.
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • Salt and pepper To taste.
  • Olive oil For cooking.
For Serving
  • Lettuce, tomato, and pickles For serving.

Method

Preparation
  1. Begin by chopping your onions and bell peppers. The smaller, the better, as they will cook quickly with the beef.
Cooking
  1. In a large skillet, heat a tablespoon of olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef and season with salt and pepper. Cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
  2. Once the beef is browned, add the diced onions and bell peppers to the skillet. Stir everything together and cook until the vegetables are soft, about 3-4 minutes.
  3. Lower the heat to medium and sprinkle the shredded cheese over the beef mixture. Allow it to melt slightly, stirring to combine everything so that each bite is cheesy.
Assembly
  1. Take a tortilla and spoon a generous amount of the beef and cheese mixture into the center. Fold in the sides, then roll up from the bottom to secure the filling inside.
Grilling (Optional)
  1. Place the wraps seam-side down in the skillet and grill for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until golden brown.
Serving
  1. Slice the wraps in half and serve with fresh lettuce, tomato, and pickles on the side. Enjoy!

Notes

For extra spice, add jalapeños. You can also add avocado, salsa, or your favorite hot sauce. Store leftovers wrapped in foil or plastic wrap in the refrigerator for 2-3 days. Reheat in a preheated oven at 350°F for 10-15 minutes, or grill in a skillet for a crispy texture.
