Method
Preparation
- Begin by lining a baking sheet with parchment paper to make it easy to transfer your chocolate-covered pretzels once they’re done.
Melting the Chocolate
- In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the chocolate chips and coconut oil. Heat in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until the chocolate is fully melted and smooth.
Dipping the Pretzels
- Take your pretzel twists and dip them into the melted chocolate, ensuring they are fully coated. Use a fork to lift them out, allowing excess chocolate to drip off.
Adding Sprinkles
- Once dipped, place the pretzels on the prepared baking sheet. If adding sprinkles, do it now while the chocolate is still wet.
Setting the Chocolate
- Let the chocolate-covered pretzels sit at room temperature or place them in the refrigerator until the chocolate hardens completely.
Serving
- Enjoy your delectable creations right away, or store them for later!
Notes
Store in an airtight container at room temperature for about a week. For longer storage, freeze in a single layer before transferring to a freezer bag.
