Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 2 cups pretzel twists (or rods)
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips (or your choice of chocolate) You can use milk, dark, or white chocolate based on your preference.
  • 1 teaspoon coconut oil (optional, for smoother chocolate)
  • to taste colorful sprinkles (optional, for decoration) Add while the chocolate is still wet.

Method

Preparation
  1. Begin by lining a baking sheet with parchment paper to make it easy to transfer your chocolate-covered pretzels once they’re done.
Melting the Chocolate
  1. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the chocolate chips and coconut oil. Heat in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until the chocolate is fully melted and smooth.
Dipping the Pretzels
  1. Take your pretzel twists and dip them into the melted chocolate, ensuring they are fully coated. Use a fork to lift them out, allowing excess chocolate to drip off.
Adding Sprinkles
  1. Once dipped, place the pretzels on the prepared baking sheet. If adding sprinkles, do it now while the chocolate is still wet.
Setting the Chocolate
  1. Let the chocolate-covered pretzels sit at room temperature or place them in the refrigerator until the chocolate hardens completely.
Serving
  1. Enjoy your delectable creations right away, or store them for later!

Notes

Store in an airtight container at room temperature for about a week. For longer storage, freeze in a single layer before transferring to a freezer bag.
