Chipotle Aioli Recipe

This homemade Chipotle Aioli is a smoky, spicy, and creamy sauce that’s perfect for dipping, spreading, or drizzling on your favorite dishes. With just a few ingredients, it adds a bold flavor to burgers, fries, tacos, and more!

Ingredients
  

  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon chipotle peppers in adobo sauce from the can, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon adobo sauce from the can
  • 1 teaspoon garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon fresh lime juice
  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika optional for extra smokiness
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method
 

  1. Prepare the Chipotle Peppers
  2. Finely chop 1 tablespoon of chipotle peppers from the can. You can adjust the amount based on your preferred spice level.
  3. Mix the Aioli Ingredients
  4. In a small mixing bowl, combine the mayonnaise, chopped chipotle peppers, adobo sauce, minced garlic, lime juice, and smoked paprika (if using). Stir until well combined.
  5. Taste and Adjust
  6. Taste the aioli and adjust the seasoning with salt, pepper, or more lime juice to suit your preference. If you like it spicier, add more chopped chipotle peppers.
  7. Serve or Store
  8. Serve the Chipotle Aioli immediately as a dipping sauce, spread, or topping. If not using right away, transfer it to an airtight container and refrigerate for up to 5 days.
