Chipotle Aioli Recipe

This homemade Chipotle Aioli is a smoky, spicy, and creamy sauce that’s perfect for dipping, spreading, or drizzling on your favorite dishes. With just a few ingredients, it adds a bold flavor to burgers, fries, tacos, and more!

Equipment

Ingredients
  

  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon chipotle peppers in adobo sauce from the can, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon adobo sauce from the can
  • 1 teaspoon garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon fresh lime juice
  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika optional for extra smokiness
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Prepare the Chipotle Peppers
  • Finely chop 1 tablespoon of chipotle peppers from the can. You can adjust the amount based on your preferred spice level.
  • Mix the Aioli Ingredients
  • In a small mixing bowl, combine the mayonnaise, chopped chipotle peppers, adobo sauce, minced garlic, lime juice, and smoked paprika (if using). Stir until well combined.
  • Taste and Adjust
  • Taste the aioli and adjust the seasoning with salt, pepper, or more lime juice to suit your preference. If you like it spicier, add more chopped chipotle peppers.
  • Serve or Store
  • Serve the Chipotle Aioli immediately as a dipping sauce, spread, or topping. If not using right away, transfer it to an airtight container and refrigerate for up to 5 days.
