Ingredients

Burrito Ingredients
  • 2 large Flour tortillas Or use 4 small tortillas.
  • 1 cup Chili Canned or homemade.
  • 1 cup Shredded cheese Preferably cheddar or a cheese blend.
  • 1 small Onion Diced.
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Ground cumin
  • Salt To taste.
  • Pepper To taste.
  • Olive oil For warming tortillas.

Method

Preparation
  1. In a small saucepan, heat the chili over medium heat until warm.
  2. In a skillet, add olive oil over medium heat. Place one tortilla in the hot skillet and warm until pliable, about 30 seconds on each side. Repeat for the second tortilla.
  3. Layer half of the chili on each warmed tortilla. Add half a cup of shredded cheese and sprinkle diced onions on top.
  4. Fold in the sides of the tortilla and roll tightly from one end to the other, tucking in the filling as you go.
  5. Slice the burritos in half and enjoy warm. Optionally, sprinkle additional cheese on top or serve with salsa.

Notes

Customize your chili by adding your favorite beans, spices, or vegetables. Experiment with different cheese blends for various flavors. Avoid overfilling the burrito to prevent messiness. For extra crunch, toast the burrito in the skillet after rolling.
