  • 1/4 cup olive oil Adds richness and moisture.
  • 3 tablespoons lemon juice Provides a zesty kick.
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced For aromatic goodness.
  • 1 teaspoon paprika Adds warmth and color.
  • 1 teaspoon cumin For an earthy flavor.
  • to taste salt and pepper Adjust according to preference.
  • optional Fresh herbs (like parsley or cilantro) For garnish.

Method

Preparation
  1. In a bowl, combine olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, paprika, cumin, salt, and pepper. Whisk until well combined.
  2. Place the chicken breasts in a resealable plastic bag or a shallow dish. Pour the marinade over the chicken, ensuring each piece is well-coated. Seal the bag or cover the dish with plastic wrap.
  3. Allow the chicken to marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, or up to 4 hours for maximum flavor.
Cooking
  1. After marinating, preheat your grill, oven, or stovetop.
  2. If grilling, cook the chicken for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked (internal temperature should reach 165°F).
  3. For oven cooking, preheat to 375°F and bake for 20-25 minutes.
Serving
  1. Garnish with fresh herbs if desired and serve. Enjoy the burst of flavors in every juicy bite.

Notes

For best flavor, marinate for 2-4 hours. Avoid marinating too long to prevent a mushy texture. Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator or frozen for longer storage.
