Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 9 sheets Lasagna noodles You can use regular or no-boil noodles.
  • 2 cups Cooked chicken breast, shredded
  • 2 cups Alfredo sauce Store-bought or homemade.
  • 1 cup Ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups Mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 cup Spinach, cooked (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper To taste.

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. If using store-bought Alfredo sauce, skip ahead. Otherwise, heat your homemade Alfredo sauce on low until warm.
  3. If chicken is not pre-cooked, grill or bake it until fully cooked, then shred into bite-sized pieces.
Layering
  1. In a large baking dish, spread a small amount of Alfredo sauce at the bottom.
  2. Layer with lasagna noodles, followed by shredded chicken, ricotta cheese, and spinach.
  3. Repeat the layers, adding more Alfredo sauce each time until all ingredients are used.
  4. Top the final layer with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese, ensuring an even spread.
Baking
  1. Cover the dish with foil and bake for 20 minutes.
  2. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
Serving
  1. Once out of the oven, let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving to allow it to set properly.

Notes

Chicken Alternatives: Consider using turkey or sautéed vegetables for a vegetarian twist. Cheese Choices: Experiment with different cheese combinations for varied flavors. No-Boil Noodles: Ensure your sauce has enough moisture if using no-boil noodles. Common Mistakes: Avoid overcooking, as it can make the lasagna mushy.
