Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1 package 1 package of biscuit dough (about 8 count)
  • 1 cup 1 cup of mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup 1/2 cup of pepperoni slices
  • 1/2 teaspoon 1/2 teaspoon of Italian seasoning (optional) Optional for added flavor
  • 1 tablespoon 1 tablespoon of melted butter For brushing on top
  • to taste Marinara sauce (for dipping) Serve with marinara sauce for dipping

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat Your Oven: Start by preheating your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Prepare the Biscuit Dough: Open the package of biscuit dough and separate the individual pieces. Flatten each biscuit slightly into a small circle using your hands.
  3. Add Toppings: In the center of each flattened biscuit, place a small amount of shredded mozzarella cheese, a couple of pepperoni slices, and a sprinkle of Italian seasoning if you’re using it.
  4. Seal the Biscuits: Carefully fold the edges of the biscuit over the filling to create a ball shape. Make sure to pinch the seams tightly so the cheese doesn’t leak out while baking.
  5. Brush with Butter: Place the filled dough balls on a greased baking sheet. Brush the tops with melted butter.
  6. Bake Them: Bake in the preheated oven for about 12-15 minutes or until they are golden brown and the cheese is melted.
  7. Serve: Allow to cool for a couple of minutes, then serve with marinara sauce for dipping.

Notes

If using pizza dough or puff pastry instead of biscuit dough, expect different textures. Watch the baking time to prevent burning, and let cool slightly before serving.
