  • 2 slices slices of garlic bread Use pre-made garlic bread for convenience.
  • 1 cup cooked chicken, shredded You can use leftover or rotisserie chicken.
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella) Use your preferred cheese.
Seasonings
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
Optional Toppings
  • Lettuce or tomato slices For added crunch.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Start by shredding your cooked chicken into bite-sized pieces. Season it with garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
Assembly
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Take one slice of garlic bread and spoon the shredded chicken on top. Pile on the shredded cheese.
  2. Place the second slice of garlic bread on top to create a sandwich.
Baking
  1. Place the sandwich on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake in the preheated oven for about 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and the bread is golden brown.
Serving
  1. Remove from the oven and allow it to cool for a minute before cutting in half. Serve hot with optional lettuce or tomato slices.

Notes

If you have leftovers, store them in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days or freeze for up to a month. Reheat in the oven for best results.
