Ingredients

For the crust
  • 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
For the cheesecake filling
  • 16 oz cream cheese, softened (2 packages of 8 oz each)
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
For the apple mixture
  • 2 cups finely chopped apples (like Granny Smith) Use tart apples for balance with sweetness.
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
For topping
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce For drizzling on top.

Method

Preparation
  1. In a bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs and melted butter until it's well mixed. Press the mixture into the bottom of individual serving cups or small dessert glasses evenly to form a crust. Set aside.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, beat together softened cream cheese and granulated sugar with an electric mixer until creamy and smooth. Gradually add in the heavy cream and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined and fluffy.
  3. In a separate bowl, combine chopped apples, cinnamon, and brown sugar. Mix until apples are coated evenly.
Assembly
  1. Spoon a layer of the cheesecake filling over the crust. Follow with a layer of the apple mixture, and then top it off with another layer of cheesecake filling. Repeat until you reach the top of your cups.
  2. Drizzle caramel sauce over the top and then cover each cup with plastic wrap. Place in the refrigerator to chill for at least two hours, allowing the layers to set and flavors to meld.
Serving
  1. Once chilled, serve the cups—grab a spoon and dig in!

Notes

For best results, use tart apples like Granny Smith. These cheesecake cups can be made a day in advance for improved flavor. Ensure they are covered in the refrigerator to maintain freshness.
