Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1 cup unsalted butter Use fresh butter for best flavor.
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced Ensure garlic is fresh.
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning Adjust amount to taste.
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice Fresh lemon juice is recommended.
  • Salt and pepper to taste Season according to preference.
  • Fresh parsley for garnish Provides color and freshness.

Method

Preparation
  1. In a medium saucepan over medium heat, melt the unsalted butter. Keep an eye on it; you want it melted, not bubbling.
  2. Once the butter is melted, add the minced garlic. Sauté for about 1-2 minutes until it becomes fragrant. Do not let the garlic brown, as it will turn bitter.
  3. Stir in the Cajun seasoning and lemon juice, allowing the vibrant colors and smells to come alive.
  4. Season the sauce with salt and pepper to taste. Optionally, add extra Cajun seasoning for more flavor.
  5. Remove from heat and sprinkle fresh parsley on top for a burst of color and brightness.

Notes

For a dairy-free version, substitute coconut oil for butter. Store leftover sauce in the refrigerator for up to one week or freeze for up to three months. Reheat in short bursts to maintain texture.
