Base Ingredients
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt (plain or flavored)
  • 1/2 cup protein powder (vanilla or unflavored)
Flavor Enhancers
  • 1/2 cup fresh blueberries Gently fold in to maintain their shape.
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the rolled oats, protein powder, and Greek yogurt.
  2. Add in the honey (or maple syrup) and vanilla extract. Mix until everything is well combined.
  3. Gently fold in the fresh blueberries to maintain their shape.
  4. Using your hands, scoop out a tablespoon of the mixture and roll it into bite-sized balls. Place them on a lined tray or plate.
  5. Refrigerate the protein bites for at least 15 minutes, allowing them to firm up a bit.
  6. Snack away and enjoy your delicious and nutritious treats!

Notes

Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 5-7 days. They can also be frozen for longer-term storage. For a dairy-free version, use coconut yogurt instead of Greek yogurt and agave syrup in place of honey.
