Base Ingredients

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt (plain or flavored)
  • 1/2 cup protein powder (vanilla or unflavored)

Flavor Enhancers

  • 1/2 cup fresh blueberries Gently fold in to maintain their shape.
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Preparation

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the rolled oats, protein powder, and Greek yogurt.
  • Add in the honey (or maple syrup) and vanilla extract. Mix until everything is well combined.
  • Gently fold in the fresh blueberries to maintain their shape.
  • Using your hands, scoop out a tablespoon of the mixture and roll it into bite-sized balls. Place them on a lined tray or plate.
  • Refrigerate the protein bites for at least 15 minutes, allowing them to firm up a bit.
  • Snack away and enjoy your delicious and nutritious treats!

Notes

Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 5-7 days. They can also be frozen for longer-term storage. For a dairy-free version, use coconut yogurt instead of Greek yogurt and agave syrup in place of honey.
