Preparing the dessert
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine the crushed pretzels, melted butter, and granulated sugar. Stir until well combined.
- Press this mixture into the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish and bake for 10 minutes.
- Let the crust cool completely.
- In a large bowl, blend the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth and creamy.
- Fold in the whipped topping until well incorporated.
- Once the pretzel crust has cooled, spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the crust.
- Gently place fresh blackberries on top of the cream cheese layer. Optionally, drizzle some blackberry pie filling over the blackberries.
- Refrigerate for at least 2-3 hours to let the layers set properly. Cut into squares and serve chilled.

Get creative with toppings by incorporating other berries and ensure your cream cheese is fully softened for the best texture. Don’t skip the chilling time to let flavors meld.
